Twos give Saints the run around

THE Mansfield Reserves hosted their arch rivals the Benalla Saints on Saturday and, despite their position on the ladder, really needed to win and win well to keep the season moving forward.

Once again Jamie Rekers (bog) was a standout, marking everything that came his way, kicking goals and really doing everything that a great teammate is asked of.

Scotty Markwick had another great game rucking a lot of the game, and his work around the ground was a highlight.

He plays as an extra on baller this kid he is so fit and athletic.

Eagles kicked four goals in each of the first two quarters and another four in the third to take an 80 point lead into the three quarter time break.

Guy Taylor and Tom Gibbs had a good day up forward, and all the guys through the middle were happy to take their turn in and out resting down back to give everyone sufficient game time.
