TANDY Annuscheit has two strong interests in her life, both resulting from her own personal experiences.

One of these is working with disabled people and the second is working for her Aboriginal heritage.

Tandy was born in Gosford, NSW, but moved to Victoria when she was just one year old.

She went to school in Birmingham and Monbulk.

“I wasn’t that interested in school, I just wanted to get through it,” she said with a smile.

“Art and craft were my interest at school, but I wanted to work with the disabled.

“I wanted to be part of the caring and nurturing side so I left school at 16 and got a job with the Janefield Training Centre.”
