Rollers gutted by narrow loss

TEN pin bowling matches last week saw Gutter-licious take on the top of the ladder High Rollers last Tuesday night on Lanes 1 and 2, but it was Gutter-licious who came out victorious, winning the last round on handicap scores 770-831, 837-701, 749-740.

Terry Jones from High Rollers scored a massive 195 with a turkey and a total of six strikes and four spares, and was the top scorer for The Rollers.

Toby Beekman from Gutter-licous also managed to deliver a turkey in the second round, but it was Stuart Toy who top scored for Gutter-licious with 173.

Lanes 3 and 4 hosted a close battle between Greypex and The Dooners, and bottom of the ladder Greypex came out the champs winning two out of the three rounds 752-754, 747-688, 707-681.

Matt Leggett scored his first turkey in the second round for Greypex, but it was Justin Crockett who top scored with 182, while Mark Poole was the top scorer for The Dooners with 134.

Tolmie Velvets and The Maulers played in a very uneven match.
