MIXED basketball continued last Wednesday with Timbertop turning up to find all of their opposition struck down by the circulating colds and flu.

Despite this, a scratch match was organised and the fastest game of the season ensued.

Sally Kelly worked the ball in well and Amy Jewson had no trouble driving past the blokes to sink numerous baskets in the open rules game.

Phil Bohum and Tom and Jamie Watson shot some nice points, and up the other end there was some tactical passing and goals by Guy Taylor, Kass Thomas and Nick Slijkermann.

In game two, there was a good contest between Jackass and Wildcats.

Ben and Bailey Vogelzang shot well with some strong rebounds by Ben, as Sally Lay tipped in eight nice points for Jackass, but the Wildcats were too strong in a 42-34 result.
