MANSFIELD Secondary College School Council is continuing to seek funding support from the Victorian State Government to realise its Masterplan for the school grounds and classroom facilities.
Developed in 2011, a Masterplan provides a foundation for the redevelopment of the college facilities.
School council has been lobbying for an upgrade of these facilities for more than 10 years.
School council president, Sandra O’Brien, said that “despite the programs on offer, some prospective parents are discouraged by the condition of some of the buildings”.
“School council is very aware of the need to upgrade the facilities to better support the educational needs of all our students,” Ms O’Brien said.
“It is important that MSC has a learning environment that is relevant to today’s teaching standards and is attractive to teachers, students and parents.
