BEN Fagan is Mansfield Football Club’s best and fairest senior player for the 2014 season.

He finished just ahead of club stalwart Adam Boshevski to claim the honor at the club’s annual awards night last Friday.

Fagan also won both the Tom Purcell and Meehan Franklin Memorial trophies – finishing off a great season.

Coming from Tasmania, Fagan was a junior champion there before coming to Victoria.

He played three seasons with the Eagles previously before moving to the Box Hill league, but returned to Mansfield Eagles this season.

A damaging midfield-utility, but now considered an on-baller, Fagan said he had enjoyed his fourth GVFL season and was confident the Eagles could improve next year.
