Panthers in the pink as new Miscellaneous players go missing

GAME one of women’s basketball was a one sided affair with Pink Panthers dominating the match against Miscellaneous from the get go.

With six new players in the lineup for Miscellaneous it was challenging for them to find their stride.

Upon debut, Stevie Ansaldi gave it her all showing great coordination and speed, and Aman Kaur improved on last week’s performance, assisting throughout the match, keeping a cool head.

Panthers’ Natalie Taylor read the play exquisitely, intercepting numerous passes, while Mandy Kynnersley was the top scorer for the match, single handedly outscoring Miscellaneous, with the final score, Pink Panthers 64 Miscellaneous 9.

In game two it was the youthful Blazin’ Babes taking on the nurses, The Mighty Meerkats.

Irene Russell started strong getting the Meerkats on the scoreboard early on, however, Russell was devastatingly injured halfway through the match, dampening the Meerkats’ spirit.
