Amanda has been living on the land for 60 plus years

Very much a rural woman, during that time she has used her camera to capture images of the country lifestyle

RURAL EYE: Amanda Swaney among a lifetime of family photographs.

AMANDA Swaney might seem a rural woman, looking after tomatillos, cucu melons and steers.

However, the passion in her life is photography.

Occasionally she would be let into the dark room to watch.
