Mansfield hospital names new chief executive

NEW CEO: Marianne Warren will take over at the Mansfield District Hospital as CEO in March.

A NEW chief executive officer for the Mansfield District Hospital was announced last week, with Marianne Warren due to take up the position in late March.

Currently the general manager at Griffith Base Hospital in New South Wales, Ms Warren will take over from her long standing predecessor, Janene Ridley.

Chair of the Mansfield District Hospital Board, Rowan Swaney, said it was a very significant appointment for the entire community.

“In order to maintain the range and quality of services valued and needed by our community we must, in the years to come, attract significant funding,” Mr Swaney said.

“At the same time we must continue to meet the increasing audits and checks required by government and health agencies.

“We are confident that Marianne has the skill, experience and passion to lead our hospital and its services into the future.”
