THE Board of the Mansfield District Hospital held a community afternoon tea for retiring chief executive officer Janene Ridley last week.

Held on the lawns of Bentley House, it was an opportunity for the public to celebrate the outstanding contribution that Ms Ridley has made to the hospital over the past 20 years, prior to her retirement on March 5.

“I am feeling really good, looking forward to a change of pass,” Ms Ridley said about her impending departure.

“I do not think I will be looking for things to do – more likely I will be wondering how I managed to work full time.

“At the moment though I am just making sure that everything is in order for my successor.

“Just been thrilled that so many wonderful people have come up to me to say goodbye.”
