Bonnie Doon makes it two straight

THE Bonnie Doon Bombers made the trip to Greta on a wet and wild Saturday.

THE Bonnie Doon Bombers made the trip to Greta on a wet and wild Saturday.

Obviously the Doon boys like the rough weather and returned home with a 112 to 42 victory over Greta.

The sound win was based on the work of H Fidock and Josh Evans, ably supported by M Skolyarev, D Walker, John Evans and Paul Mahoney.

While the defence held Greta to 6.6, the Doon goal kickers had a day out, with M. Chilcott 5, J. Evans 4, J. Colliss 3 and D. Heazlewood, S. Galea and P Mahoney two each.

The win sees Bonnie Doon sitting second on the ladder behind defending premiers Glenrowan, with a healthy 339.29 percentage.

This week the Bombers make the trip to Goorambat to try to bring off three wins in a row to begin the season.
