Issues considered “in camera” from farmers’ federation, Beolite Village and Mansfield Skips

LAST week Mansfield Shire Council reviewed three submissions from respondents, following release of the 2015 draft budget in early May.

LAST week Mansfield Shire Council reviewed three submissions from respondents, following release of the 2015 draft budget in early May.

Submissions were received from the Victorian Farmers Federation (VFF), Beolite Village and Mansfield Skips and as no submitter wished to speak further to the issues raised in their submissions, council considered them ‘in camera’.

Mayor Marg Attley said council would reply to all submissions.

“The VFF submission was lengthy and required a lot of time,” she said.

“We appreciated their comments – the feedback was all positive.”

That submission was indeed far-reaching, covering 11 matters the VFF considered should be put before council.
