Change at MACE’s helm – Paul Sladdin moving on

MOVING ON: Paul Sladdin will be vacating his office at MACE in October this year.

MANSFIELD Adult Continuing Education (MACE) has been part of the Mansfield community for some 40 years.

For the past 15 of those years, chief executive officer Paul Sladdin has steered the MACE ship through lean and bountiful times, but all things must change.

After those years of service Mr Sladdin has decided that it’s time for a change and will be leaving MACE in October.

“When we had our 25th anniversary, I noted that community organisations need to reinvent themselves,” Mr Sladdin said.

“Now we are celebrating our 40th it is time for another phase and time for somebody fresh to move MACE into its new phase.”

Over the 15 years he has been at the helm, Mr Sladdin has steered MACE from being housed in outdated premises to what it is today, a state-of-the-art purpose built facility.
