THREE young Mansfield Aboriginal youth have now been among nominations for the prestigious Ricci Marks Award.

Young Aboriginal achievers are commended with these awards for their contributions to their communities and others across Victoria.

Among the 19 finalists for 2015 were Talitha Annuscheit and Zac Healey.

Last year Aaron Annuscheit was also recognised in the awards nominations.

Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Natalie Hutchins, presented the awards to the achievers in May at the Young Aborigines’ Youth Summit.

The awards were renamed in memory of Ricci Marks, a proud Wotjobulak man who in his short life made an outstanding contribution.
