Doon netballers come away with two wins

THE A grade girls were glad to see the rain pass and the court start to dry up as they went into their game against the always tough competitors from Goorambat.

Going off previous encounters the girls knew it was going to be a well fought out game.

With both teams getting used to the conditions, Bombers went into the half time break only two points up.

It was then the girls grouped together and felt they all needed to up both their individual intensity and the team’s drive.

Doon’s A graders came out firing in the third quarter, playing some great controlled netball, and being rewarded with tips and intercepts that the attack end were able to convert.

This saw the Bombers go into the final break with a handy eight point lead.
