THIS was it, the semi-finals of the Euroa Ladies Winter Tennis, with Mansfield pitted against the top team Euroa Purple.

Both semi-finals were played in Mansfield, where Karyn Fraser, Deb Mims Melva Anstee and Loretta Armitage took to the courts ready to give their all.

A miserable day weather wise saw a few breaks during sets, making it difficult for players to find their rhythm.

Mansfield found their mojo first, taking Euroa by surprise by taking out the opening two sets.

Sadly for Mansfield they were the only two they managed to win, but battled on, giving their all with Euroa showing why they were on top of the ladder, to run out winners by 13 games, earning the right to play Terip (who defeated Benalla in the other semi), this week at Euroa.
