NOT many people around town have roads named after their family, but Robert Graves is one.

Graves Road signifies the more than 120 years’ connection Robert’s family has had with Mansfield.

Robert was born in 1968 when his parents lived in Camberwell.

“After primary and secondary schooling at Preshil, I headed to Melbourne University to study Electrical Engineering,” he outlined.

He could have done computer science (software) but chose the hardware option.

“However, my first job was in software with Data Acquisition,” he said.
