Year 12 students reflect on the end of their school days

ONLY DAYS TO GO: Some of Mansfield Secondary College year 12 students took time out from study and practice exams to reflect on their school days, including (from left) Alicha Caminito, Ruby Lieber, Daniel Stow, Foley Lachal, Jessie Azzopardi, Tim Hume, Nathan Purcell and Liam Edwards.

WITH only a week to go to study break and then final exams, year 12 students have a lot on their minds.

Some of them found time to reflect on their school years, and the years ahead.

In general, the group agreed that their feelings were a mixture of sadness and excitement.

Many of these students have spent the last 13 years of their short lives in each other’s company, having started in infants’ school together.

Losing touch with lifelong friends when they went their separate ways was a common fear.

“Some of us have been together all through school – I hope those friendships stay strong,” said Nathan Purcell.
