THE year 12 cohort of Mansfield Secondary College (MSC) were up bright and early on Monday morning accessing their VCE results.

If there were more MSC students than usual around town unable to get the smiles off their faces, it was because the college again was fighting above their weight division when it came to results.

Top of the list was Tim Hume with a 99.15, followed by Ruby Lieber and Foley Lachal with 95.95, Danial Allan (91.85) and Nathan Purcell (90.85).

Tim will be studying science at ANU and Ruby science at Melbourne University, while Foley and Nathan will turn their attention to engineering.

Jordan Gilmore will be studying law.

“I am the only one in this group having a gap year,” she said.
