At least 10cm fell overnight bringing the average snow depth to 32cm and is continuing this morning.
Saturday’s weather remained cold and damp while Sunday the skies cleared over the mountain which attracted thousands of visitors to the snow field for their first real taste of winter for this season.
More lifts opened including ABOM Chairlift and Buller Ski Lifts operational plan was for five lifts – Blue Bullet, Bourke Street carpet, Skyline, The Fox and ABOM – to roll Saturday for the opening of the school holidays.
With loads of fresh snow and getting on skis and boards, this week Yoplait Petit Miam Kids Week will be celebrated on the mountain with a whole week of fun and free activities.
