RACHEL Meadows has done many things; been a daughter, a sister, a mother, a wife, a student and, most recently, an emotional healer.
The middle child of a family of seven, Rachel grew up fast and rebellious, leaving school before finishing her HSC.
“I was not a good student,” she admitted.
“I was bored with school work, and was always reported to be a disruption in the classroom – I left school before finishing so I could devote more time to having fun with my friends.”
Ironically, Rachel would grow into studious habits – later completing a Bachelor of Science majoring in Genetics, a Graduate Diploma in Genetic Counselling, a Graduate Certificate in Alcohol and Other Drug Studies, another Graduate Diploma in Psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology.
But before she became a good student, Rachel first became a good mother.
