IF you thought Mansfield and the surrounding district was busy over Easter then you were right.
Thousands upon thousands of people flocked to Mansfield and the high country for what is for some considered the final weekend of the summer/autumn for camping.
This past Easter was no exception, with crowds of people in town for the bush market, the supermarkets were busy all weekend, and parking spaces were in high demand.
But spare a thought for the local police officers who had to control traffic, behaviour and much more.
Sergeant Marty McLachlan of Mansfield Highway Patrol said there were a few incidences that took time to deal with but generally traffic was good.
