Mobil makes a move on Mansfield

JUST months after a proposal for a new service station/convenience restaurant was rejected by the Mansfield Shire Council, a new application has been made – this time by a Melbourne company wanting to build a Mobil fuel station.

The $2.2 million development is planned for the corner of Malcolm and Chenery streets, and includes 18 on-site car parks, a new entry and exit point from Chenery Street, 12 fuel nozzles and a 200 square metre building which will stock convenience grocery items.

Nearby residents were notified last week by the Mansfield Shire Council that an application had been made by the Spargo Group.
