Third service station will be ‘better for Mansfield’

THE developer of a proposed third service station in Mansfield has promised it will not only be pleasant on the eye, it will also increase fuel pricing competition within town.

The $2.2 million development is planned for the corner of Malcolm and Chenery streets, and includes 18 onsite car parks, a new entry and exit point from Chenery Street, 12 fuel nozzles and a 200 square metre building which will stock convenience grocery items.

Developer and investor of the project, Peter Spargo, said the one thing his project will not include is a fast food chain.
