THE Delatite 1st XI has finally broken the shackles with a sensational win against Rovers/Bruck United in round 4 of WDCA ‘A’ Grade cricket in the Twenty/20 fixture at the Lords Reserve following a disappointing loss to Ovens Valley United in the previous day’s round.

Delatite captain, Chris Anderson, won the toss and elected to bat in order to take advantage of the well-grassed Delatite wicket that indicated it may suit the batting side.

It was definitely the case as the Delatite batsmen proceeded to decimate the Rovers attack to the tune of 6/147 from their allocated 20 overs.
