MANSFIELD Shire’s new councillors were officially sworn-in at a special ceremony at the council chambers on Thursday.

Returning councillor Paul Sladdin will be sworn-in at a later date as he was unable to attend at the time, but newcomers Cr James Tehan, Cr Mark Holcombe, Cr Rohan Webb and Cr Stephen Rabie took their oath of affirmation of office and are now in place as the shire’s new council.

“We congratulate all the councillors on their election and look forward to working with them to deliver for our community over the next four years,” said Mansfield Shire chief executive officer Kaylene Conrick.
