GENERAL COMMITTEE: Helen Knight, general committee, has children nine and 11, who have been involved in the 2XU triathlon series in Melbourne for three years. “If you are taking two bikes to Melbourne you might as well take four,” Helen said. “So from last season the whole family is ‘all in’.” As someone who until last year had never run more than the school cross country or managed a lap of the pool without a breather, Helen’s flying the flag for the newbies, young and old. “There’s a pathway for everyone,” Helen said. “It’s so much fun to train here and travel together for events as a family.”
