MANSFIELD Matters Group (MMG) says support is growing fast behind a fighting fund that has been launched by them to stop the development of a fast food drive-through convenience restaurant at the Melbourne gateway to the Mansfield township.
The matter will be heard at VCAT next year after the proposal for the restaurant was refused unanimously by the Mansfield Shire Council.
The shire also refused an amendment to an adjacent service station permit which is being developed in conjunction with the convenience restaurant.
