There was excitement in the air last week with prep students starting big school across Mansfield Shire.
Each school across the shire held a whole school assembly to welcome students on their first day.
At St Mary’s Primary School, 16 preps were welcomed with a variety of free-play activities in the classroom to ease into the day.
