LIKE the rest of Victoria, Mansfield has been hit hard with COVID problems over the last fortnight, with the shire picking up five new cases, four of which are active as of print.
The first new case since the outbreak was reported last week on the cover, though it was contracted at a Melbourne hospital and the patient was never in Mansfield with it.
It was also incorrectly stated the he died of COVID, however, his doctors have stated that though he did contract it, it was certainly not the cause of his sad and untimely passing.
