ON November 4, Mansfield SES member Ged Mahoney was awarded with a long service medal and certificate for 50 years of service.
This is an amazing achievement.
In 1972, John Howie and a group of men from the Mansfield Apex Club formed the Mansfield Civil Defence Unit.
It wasn’t long before John Howie and Rowan Neely convinced Ged to join them.
