THE newest restaurant to open in Mansfield is the ANVIL Brewing Co – down the east end of High Street.
Opening with an initial three core beers; Anvil Pale Ale, Anvil Refreshing Ale (mid) & Anvil Draught, the bar also carries other micro–breweries selections on tap.
Supporting local breweries, wineries and spirit producers Anvil will be rotating its selections of regionally produced liquors.
And the cocktail menu is designed to highlight Anvil's unique spirits list.
On the food side Anvil features Rustic Italian flavours with an Asian fusion from pizzas to dumplings, chips, steaks, salads, sides and more.
All your brewery favourites and bar snacks, with plenty of fresh seafood options.
The pizzas are traditionally made, hand–stretched bases and cooked in wood–fired ovens (one inside and soon to open an outside oven in the courtyard.
All pizzas are topped with freshly sliced ingredients and available until late.
The atmosphere at Anvil is casual, yet refined dining.
And opening early from January 4 will be the outdoor pizza kitchen and bar service where guests can dine in a friendly relaxed beer garden setting.
Specialist chefs have been employed at Anvil including local identity troy Meadows as head chef, Bibik Thapa as soux chef (all the way from Nepal) and bar manager is another local chap, Cody Raidal.
Although there is no table service food and drinks can be ordered through the latest QR scan system or over the bar.
Celebrating Christmas the Anvil will be holding a Christmas party night with a DJ flown in from Western Australia.
Welcoming in the New Year will be music all night with guest DJs all the way from Melbourne.
Bookings are preferred but walk–in dining can also be accommodated or phone in for a take–away order from the menu.
