WITH the holiday season in full swing, Mansfield Shire residents are being urged to stay vigilant as scammers ramp up fraudulent activity.
Steve Carden, Station Commander at Mansfield Police Station, said that while Mansfield is a safe rural town, scams are a global issue and attempts are common both electronically and, at times, in person.
